What Does a PADI Divemaster Do?
Once certified, a PADI Divemaster can:
✔ Supervise and guide certified divers on dive trips
✔ Assist PADI Instructors in conducting scuba courses
✔ Conduct Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) programmes in confined water
✔ Lead refresher programmes for divers who have been inactive for a while

Course Structure
The PADI Divemaster Course consists of three key components:

Course Duration & Extra Dives
✔ The Divemaster program typically lasts 2 to 4 weeks, but can be extended based on individual progress.
✔ Unlimited Training Dives – As a Divemaster candidate, you will be diving almost daily, gaining hands-on experience in leading and assisting divers.
✔ Extra Fun & Supervision Dives – Whenever possible, you will also get to participate in fun dives, supervise recreational divers, and assist on introductory dives to develop real-world dive leadership skills.

Prerequisites
✔ Minimum Age: 18 years
✔ Certification Requirement: PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent from a recognised organisation
✔ Experience Requirement: Minimum 40 logged dives to begin training and 60 logged dives for certification
✔ Medical Requirement: Must submit a medical clearance form (signed by a physician within the last 12 months) stating fitness for diving
✔ EFR (Emergency First Response) Certification: Must have completed an EFR course within the past 24 months (Can be completed during training if needed at extra cost)
