PADI Advanced Open Water Course – Elevate Your Diving Experience

Take your diving skills to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. This globally recognised certification allows you to dive independently up to a maximum depth of 30 metres, unlocking a world of new underwater adventures.
Whether you’re looking to refine your skills, explore deeper waters, or experience different diving environments, this course provides hands-on training in various specialty areas, enhancing both your confidence and expertise as a diver.

Course Structure
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course consists of two main components:
1️⃣ Theory Sessions – Learn advanced diving concepts, including deep diving principles, navigation techniques, and specialty dive planning.
2️⃣ Open Water Dives – Gain practical experience with a series of 5 training dives, each focusing on a different specialty.

Throughout the course, you will complete dives in key specialty areas such as:
✔ Boat Diving – The ideal way to start, allowing divers to get comfortable in open water while being assessed by instructors.
✔ Deep Diving – Learn the skills and safety procedures required for dives beyond 18 metres.
✔ Underwater Navigation – Master compass use and natural navigation techniques.
✔ Peak Performance Buoyancy – Improve your control, efficiency, and air consumption.
✔ Elective Specialty Dive – Choose from a variety of specialty dives based on your interest, such as:
      🔹 Search & Recovery – Practice underwater search patterns and object retrieval techniques.
      🔹 Nitrox (Enriched Air) – Additonal materials / costs
      🔹 Fish Identification – Learn about marine species and their behaviours.
      🔹 Underwater Naturalist – Understand the marine ecosystem and interactions between species.

After completing the 5 required training dives, you will enjoy an additional fun dive at the end of the course, allowing you to apply your new skills in a relaxed setting.
Upon successful completion, you will earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, and each specialty dive can be credited towards individual specialty certifications if you wish to continue your diving education.

Prerequisites
✔ Minimum Age: 14 years
✔ Certification Requirement: Must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification or an equivalent from a recognised agency.
